Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL), the two-wheeler subsidiary of Japan’s Suzuki Motor Corporation, has announced the commencement of bookings for its first electric scooter, the Suzuki e-ACCESS.
With this launch, Suzuki marks its entry into the electric mobility segment in India and globally, reinforcing its commitment to reliability, durability, and everyday practicality through electric two-wheelers.
Alongside the booking announcement, the company has also introduced a new dual-tone colour option – Metallic Mat Stellar Blue / Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray – expanding the visual appeal of the Suzuki e-ACCESS for customers.
Suzuki e-ACCESS Introduced with New Dual-Tone Colour Options
Enhancing customer choice, SMIPL has expanded the colour palette of the Suzuki e-ACCESS by adding the new dual-tone shade. With this update, the electric scooter is now available in four colour combinations:
- Metallic Mat Black No. 2 / Metallic Mat Bordeaux Red
- Pearl Grace White / Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray
- Pearl Jade Green / Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray

Suzuki e-ACCESS Represents Suzuki’s First Global Battery Electric Vehicle
Commenting on the announcement, Kenichi Umeda, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited, said that the Suzuki e-ACCESS represents Suzuki’s first global battery electric vehicle.
He highlighted that the scooter has been developed with a focus on long-lasting battery performance, ease of use, strong acceleration, and high-quality fit and finish.
Every element has been carefully engineered to ensure a stress-free, enjoyable, and convenient ownership experience, aligned with Suzuki’s “By Your Side” philosophy to support customers throughout their electric mobility journey.
Suzuki e Technology Powers the Suzuki e-ACCESS
The Suzuki e-ACCESS, built on Suzuki’s advanced e-technology, has been developed around five core pillars aimed at delivering global standards of value:

The Suzuki e-ACCESS undergoes rigorous testing in line with Suzuki’s global evaluation standards, including submersion, temperature variation, drop, vibration, and battery safety tests.

The scooter is equipped with a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, offering up to four times longer battery life compared to Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) batteries.

Powered by a 4.1 kW motor producing 15 Nm of torque, the Suzuki e-ACCESS delivers responsive acceleration even at 10% state of charge (SoC). It features three ride modes—Eco, Ride A, and Ride B—along with Reverse Mode and Regenerative Braking modes.
- High-Quality Fit and Finish:
Key highlights include LED lighting, dual-tone alloy wheels, and a maintenance-free drive belt with a lifespan of up to seven years or 70,000 kilometres. Attention to detail across all touchpoints ensures minimal vibration, precise panel gaps, noise reduction, and a premium overall feel, complemented by high-quality switches and levers.

SMIPL operates a network of over 1,200 outlets across India, enabling customers to experience the Suzuki e-ACCESS and access convenient charging solutions.
Currently, more than 240 outlets are equipped with DC fast-charging facilities, which will be expanded in phases.
